Every film has a message that can resonate with its audience. Some films are just made for entertainment while most films present the opportunity to inspire young people to set a new perspective in their own lives. Watching a motivational film can inspire hope persistence or creativity in a viewers ideas about pursuing dreams and taking on challenges. A similar incident happened in Raja Nayak.
Raja Nayak the owner of companies such as MCS Logistics Akshay Enterprises Jala Beverages Purple Haze Wellness Space and Nutri Planet had his entire life changed after watching a movie starring Amitabh Bachchan.
Raja grew up in hunger deprivation and poverty. By the age of 15 he realized that he would have to drop out of school and not continue his education due to his familys poor economic situation. By the time he was 17 Raja left home. While in these exhausting situations Raja once watched Amitabh Bachchans Trishul a film that changed everything he had ever known reported ZeeNews.
He was inspired by how Amitabh Bachchans character went from nothing to being a real estate king despite being born into the tough life of poverty and hardships. He decided to take control of his life and move to Mumbai to pursue his dreams as well as carve out his future.
Raja Nayak was born into a poor family in Bengaluru. He had to drop out of school because they could not afford an education. At 17 he moved out to Mumbai to search for work; given these obstacles he was unable to find a job and had to return home.
Not discouraged he borrowed money from his mother to buy cheap shirts from Tiruppur in Tamil Nadu. Raja began selling these shirts from the streets of Bengaluru. He mainly focused on buying white and blue shirts because he noticed that workers from the factory next to his house wore shirts only in those two colors. Raja used this insight and sold all of his shirts in a single day.
Raja profited Rs 5000 on the very first day. He saw that if he put in the effort within that same market he could achieve success. He began to diversify his business selling shoes slippers and household items alongside shirts. Seeing his improvements in work and business in 1991 he crossed into the packaging sector and created his first company Akshay Enterprises.
Raja Nayak began with packaging then expanded into logistics in 1998. He proceeded to move to beverages with Jala Beverages then into beauty and grooming with Purple Haze. With Nutri Planet he then entered health food and energy bars. Whenever he made these moves Raja Nayak simply kept making progress and soon his business had a turnover of Rs 100 crore.
