While the Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, and Pixel 10 Pro XL are all expected to launch during Google’s “Made by Google” event on August 20 and go on sale by August 28, the Pixel 10 Pro Fold is now slated to arrive around October 9.

Google's much-anticipated Pixel 10 Pro Fold is reportedly facing a delay and will not be available alongside the rest of the Pixel 10 lineup. While the Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, and Pixel 10 Pro XL are all expected to launch during Google’s “Made by Google” event on August 20 and go on sale by August 28, the Pixel 10 Pro Fold is now slated to arrive around October 9. The delay also affects the launch of the Pixel Watch 4 and Pixel Buds 2a, which were initially expected to release alongside the flagship phones.

According to WinFuture sources, the reasons behind the delay are reportedly tied to production and supply chain challenges, particularly due to the Pixel 10 Pro Fold’s upgraded components. This includes a redesigned hinge, a larger 6.4-inch external display with thinner bezels, improved water and dust resistance likely rated at IP68, and enhanced charging features such as 23W wired fast charging and Qi2 wireless support. These upgrades mark a significant step forward from the Pixel Fold 9.

The Pixel 10 Pro Fold is expected to run on Google’s new Tensor G5 chip built on TSMC’s 3nm process, and is paired with up to 16GB of RAM. The foldable is also rumored to house a 5,015mAh battery.

For Indian consumers, the standard Pixel 10 models are expected to be available the very next day of launch, while those eyeing the foldable or the new wearable accessories may need to wait until October.

Pre-orders for all devices are likely to begin after the launch event, but deliveries for the Pixel 10 Pro Fold and Pixel Watch 4 could take significantly longer.
