Delhi University has opened the mid-entry application window for undergraduate admission 2025 from August 8 to 10, so that candidates who missed the opportunity in the first round will now be able to apply.
There is good news for the students who dream of studying in Delhi University (DU) and missed the opportunity to apply in the first round. The university has opened the mid-entry application window for undergraduate admission 2025 today, August 8, from 5 pm. This special opportunity is for those candidates who could not apply earlier or whose application was canceled due to some reason. Candidates can apply by visiting the official website ugadmission.uod.ac.in till 4:59 pm on August 10.
DU has started this process to fill the vacant seats which are left after the initial round. The university will also release the list of these vacant seats at 5 pm today. Candidates who did not get a seat in the first or second round will be able to edit and resubmit their preferences.
Under mid-entry, these candidates will get a chance:
Those who could not appear in the initial CSAS application. Those who did not complete Phase 2. Those whose application got rejected due to document problems or mistakes in subject selection (subject mapping).
Third round schedule also released
Under the third round of Delhi University, the first round allotment results of performance-based programs (such as music, theater, etc.) will be released on August 13. At the same time, the results of CW (Children/Widows of Armed Forces), ECA (Extra Curricular Activities) and sports quota will be declared on August 15. Selected candidates will be able to accept their seats between August 13 and 18, while colleges will have to check and approve the application by August 18.
How many seats and how many admissions have been done
According to the latest data of DU, 71,130 admissions have been confirmed so far in the upgrade round. The university has a total of 71,624 seats, which are available in 69 colleges and departments in 79 undergraduate programs, 186 BA program combinations
and other courses. Delhi University has started the undergraduate academic session from August 1 as per the academic calendar guidelines of UGC. The admission process will be completed on August 19.
