Bengaluru News: The Bengaluru Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) will roll out four new metro feeder bus services from Monday to coincide with the launch of Namma Metro’s Yellow Line operations.
According to BMTC, the move aims to improve first- and last-mile connectivity for passengers travelling to and from metro stations. The services will be particularly beneficial for those in Electronics City, Bommasandra, and Kodathi, which are key IT and residential zones.
MF-22: Electronics City – Konappana Agrahara – Hosaroad – Kasavanahalli – Kaikondrahalli – Doddakannalli.
MF-22A: Konappana Agrahara – Electronics City – Huskur Gate – Chintala Madivala – Muttanalluru Cross – Thimmasandra Cross – Chandapura Cross.
Both MF-22 and MF-22A will run from Electronics City Wipro Gate and Kodathi Wipro at different times.
MF-22B: Bommasandra – Thirupalya Cross – S-Mando-3 – Electronics City Wipro Gate – Konappana Agrahara – Electronics City – Hebbagodi – Bommasandra.
MF-22C: Konappana Agrahara – Electronics City Wipro Gate – S-Mando-3 – Thirupalya Cross – Bommasandra – Hebbagodi – Electronics City – Konappana Agrahara.
BMTC said these feeder routes will ensure direct connectivity between metro stations and major employment and residential hubs.
