The Anderson-Tendulkar series has finally ended, where both nations showcase their best to make their nation win the game. Brilliant batting performance, excellent fielding and great bowling as well.

However, the series played between India and England was thrilling and ended up in a 2-2 draw, on the last day of the final test. India won by 6 runs. Former Australia’s skipper Michael Clarke presented his views on the result of the tournament.

This England team, I think, 2-2 draw in your own backyard, if I’m captain of that team, I’m disappointed with that result,” Michael Clarke said this on his Youtube channel. he added more things like, “I want to win, especially in my own conditions. I think they would’ve come into the series expecting to win,”

Michael Clarke also said that “I’m not taking India lightly, but I think they’ve overachieved, particularly with the lead-up to the series,”. “If India lost the series, people would’ve respected and understood that. New captain, two of their most senior players not playing Test cricket, the best bowler in the world playing only three of the five matches – I think England would’ve gone into the series expecting to win,” he also added “India have overperformed. To level the series 2-2, that’s definitely a win for India in my opinion

Even though India dominated more sessions across the series, England entered the last day of the final Test at The Oval needing only 35 runs with four wickets left to secure a 3–1 series victory.

However, Prasidh Krishna and Mohammed Siraj played a crucial role for the team on the last day of the final match. Their deadly duo put England under pressure and leveled the series by 2-2. Indian skipper Shubman Gill also shared that Siraj is a captain’s dream. Many cricket experts also expressed their feelings after the win in India.
