Hina Khan, back to work a year after revealing breast cancer diagnosis, says the industry is hesitant to work with her. "Had I been in their place, I would’ve thought a thousand times. I’m open to auditions, where did I stop?" she said, adding she’s fine with the hesitation and hopes Pati Patni Aur Panga will break the norm.
Television actress Hina Khan, who returned to work a year after announcing her stage 3 breast cancer diagnosis and is currently seen in Pati Patni Aur Panga with her husband Rocky Jaiswal, hosted by Munawar Faruqui and Sonali Bendre, recently shared that she still feels the industry is hesitant to work with her.

She told PTI, "This is my first project after the whole thing (breast cancer diagnosis) happened. I want to work. No one has directly said to me that, 'You've still not recovered completely', but I can sense that maybe people are hesitant (to work with me) for all the right reasons."

Hina said she's fine with the hesitation and hopes Pati Patni Aur Panga will help break that norm, adding that in their place, she too would have thought about it many times.
"I'm open to auditions, where did I stop? No one has called me for the last one year, for all the reasons. I'm open to everything, please call me," Khan added.

Hina said taking up Pati Patni Aur Panga was a big step and an experiment to see if her health would allow her to do it. So far, things have been good, though she still gets tired at times, but apart from that, everything is fine.
Hina Says She’s Ready For Short-Term Projects
"I'm ready to take up anything, be it a digital show, or anything, I would not take up long term commitment. If anything is offered (in films), if they find me worthy enough, then why not," Khan said.
The actor also shared her interest in playing a spy agent, whether in an OTT project or a film.
