Inauguration of the Yellow Line

On Sunday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the highly anticipated Yellow Line of the Namma Metro in Bengaluru. Accompanied by Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Deputy Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar, Modi took a ride on the metro. A video capturing the conversation between the Prime Minister, Siddaramaiah, and Shivakumar was also shared.

This new metro line is expected to alleviate traffic congestion in several busy areas connecting the city's IT hub. After the inauguration, the Prime Minister traveled from RV Road (Ragigudda) to the Electronic City metro station, engaging in conversations with students during the journey.

Prior to the inauguration, Karnataka Congress leaders criticized PM Modi and the BJP, accusing them of neglecting Bengaluru. They claimed that the central government allocated insufficient funds for the metro project, leading to delays.
