Every house tricolor: a new beginning

Every house tricolor 2025: As the Independence Day is being seen again in India as it is coming closer August 1525. This year, the country is completing 78 years of its independence, and on this occasion the fourth phase of the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign is emerging as a mass movement. This initiative has become not just a formality, but has become a symbol of emotional connection towards its nation for every citizen.

Inspiration to hoist the tricolor

From door-to-door tricolor, picture of a strong nation
This time too, citizens are being motivated to hoist the tricolor at their homes, so that they can include the spirit of patriotism in their lives. The Ministry of Culture has invited people to become ‘every household tricolor ambassador’, in which they can get digital badges and certificates by sharing their tricolor selfies. This campaign started in 2022 under the ‘Amrit Mahotsav of Independence’ and now it has become a participation movement of crores of people.

Role of volunteers

Increasing contribution of volunteers
To make the campaign more effective this year, ‘every house tricolor volunteer program’ has been started. Volunteers across the country are going door-to-door helping people to hoist the tricolor properly, distributing flags and encouraging them to upload selfies on the campaign portal. Successful volunteers are given official certificates, and those who participate the most will be honored at the state and national levels.

Empowerment of women

Women are getting economic support
This campaign is not only limited to patriotism, but also its socio-economic aspect. The Uttar Pradesh government has planned to distribute 60 lakh flags in urban poor settlements for free. These flags are being created by self -help groups (SHGS), which has provided employment to about 29,000 women. Earlier, where the government distributed crores of flags, almost the entire production is being done by local groups, which is promoting self -sufficiency.

Cleanliness and Swadeshi confluence

Campaign and indigenous campaign
In states like Madhya Pradesh, ‘every house tricolor’ is being linked to cleanliness and indigenous campaigns. Awareness of civil duties and national identity is being increased here through rallies, cleaning campaigns and cultural programs here. In Varanasi, women groups have so far prepared 2.5 lakh tricolor and distributed in the city, which has also become a source of empowerment of women.

Signs of unity and pride

Signs of unity and pride
‘Every house tricolor’ is no longer an initiative to hoist only one flag, but it shows the spirit, participation and pride of the citizens towards the nation. This campaign has become a touching movement of the soul of India, in which a voice comes from every house – “I am an Indian and I am proud of my country.”
