Alert in entire Bihar on 12th August, there will be heavy rain in these districts, IMD issued warning

Heavy rains are continuing in the districts of Bihar. Meanwhile, the Patna Meteorological Department has issued an alert for the entire Bihar on August 12. Orange alert has been issued in half of Bihar and yellow alert in the other half of Bihar.

During this period, a warning of heavy rain has also been issued in many districts. According to the Meteorological Department, there will be rain in East Champaran, West Champaran, Shivhar, Sitamarhi, Madhubani, Madhepura, Katihar and Saharsa districts.

There will be heavy rain in these districts

Along with this, the Meteorological Department has issued an alert of heavy rain in Supaul, Araria, Kishanganj and Purnia. Along with this, warning of thunder and lightning has also been issued in many districts. Apart from this, warning of wind blowing at a speed of 30 to 40 kilometers per hour has also been issued. In such a situation, the Meteorological Department has appealed to the people to be cautious. Especially farmers have been advised not to stay in the open.

 The weather will remain bad for three to four days

According to the Meteorological Department, monsoon is continuously active in Bihar. Due to which there is a possibility of rain in the state for the next three-four days. There is a possibility of rain in the eastern and north-central parts of the state. During this time there is a possibility of thunder and lightning. IMD has issued an alert regarding this.

Many rivers of Bihar overflowed

It is known that due to the continuous heavy rains in Bihar, many rivers including Ganga, Kosi, Gandak, Punpun, Son have overflown. The water level of Ganga is also increasing in Bhagalpur. Due to which, after the rural areas, now flood water is entering the urban areas as well. However, the district administration is in alert mode.

So far 25 percent less rain in Bihar

According to the Meteorological Department, the maximum and minimum temperatures in the state are around normal. Bihar has received 438 mm of rain so far. This is 25% less than normal.
