There is a possibility of rain in most districts of Bihar on Wednesday as well. Today too, there is a possibility of heavy rain in North Bihar while rain is likely to be weak in South Bihar. According to the Meteorological Center Patna, there is a warning of heavy rain in 9 districts including North Bihar and the eastern areas of South Bihar today on Wednesday.
There is a strong possibility of heavy rain in many districts
There is a strong possibility of very heavy rain in West Champaran, Siwan and Gopalganj, while warnings have been issued for heavy rains along with thunder and lightning at many places in East Champaran, Saran, Samastipur, Khagaria, Kishanganj and Munger. There is also a forecast of strong winds blowing at a speed of 30-40 km per hour at some places in these districts.
The weather department has issued an orange alert for rain in 13 days including Patna between 2:16 am to 7:33 am on Wednesday. These include Araria, Kishanganj, Saran, Muzaffarpur, Samastipur, Vaishali, some parts of Patna district, Bhojpur, Aurangabad, Arwal, Gayaji, Jehanabad and Supaul. Rain is being recorded in these districts since morning.
Apart from this, there is a possibility of heavy rainfall in Bhagalpur, Banka, Jamui, Purnia, Katihar of the eastern region today, while there is a strong possibility of moderate rainfall in Nalanda, Nawada, Begusarai of South Bihar. On Tuesday, less rainfall was recorded in the morning, but after the evening it rained in many districts. The highest rainfall of 98.02 mm was recorded in Nalanda from 12 noon on Monday to 12 noon on Tuesday.
While Darbhanga witnessed heavy rainfall of 74.2 mm, Sheikhpura 63.02, Purnia 42, Rohtas 41.2, Nawada 37.4, Gayaji 33.02, Kishanganj 36.4, Sitamarhi 32.8, Araria 30.6, Khagaria 26, Bhojpur 25.4, Madhepura 25.4, Jehanabad 24.02, Sheohar 23.4 mm of moderate rainfall was recorded.
Rajgir of Nalanda recorded the highest temperature
On the other hand, due to no rainfall from Tuesday morning till the whole day, a slight increase in the temperature of the state was observed. The highest temperature of 36.3 degrees Celsius was recorded in Rajgir of Nalanda, while the temperature in the capital Patna increased by one degree to 33.6 degrees. The average temperature on Tuesday was between 33 and 34 degrees.
