Former World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) CEO Vince McMahon shuts down suggestions that the late Hulk Hogan was a racist. Although McMahon admitted that Hogan had said some racist things and deservedly paid for his actions but suggested that he needs to be forgiven.

Hogan, who reportedly died of cardiac arrest on July 25, 2025, had allegedly used racial slurs in 2007 to describe his daughter's Brooke's ex-boyfriend as a tape emerged in 2015. According to NBC News, a few reports emerged that Hogan had used a similar racial slur on a recorded phone call with his son. As a result, the Georgia-born wrestler's contract was terminated on July 24, 2015.

In a sneak peak of the documentary 'The Real Hulk Hogan' set to be premiered, McMahon said:

"I knew he wasn't a racist. He was there for so many years. He wasn't racist, he said some racist things. He should pay for that and he did. But in the end, I think everyone saw the real Hulk Hogan and they felt, 'Wait a minute, he doesn't act like a racist. He is not a racist.' We all make mistakes but he wasn't a racist."

Ric Flair had paid a rich tribute to Hulk Hogan

Former WWE wrestler and one of Hogan's fiercest rivals in the ring Ric Flair said their friendship meant the world to him and recalled how much was he a helping hand.

He Was One Of The First To Visit Me When I Was In The Hospital With A 2% Chance Of Living, And He Prayed By My Bedside. Hulk Also Lent Me Money When Reid Was Sick. Hulkster, No One Will Ever Compare To You! Rest In Peace My Friend!"

The decorated wrestler was laid to rest in a private ceremony in Florida.
