Dani Dyer has revealed she's scrapped the show she hosts alongside her dad Danny ahead of her Strictly Come Dancing debut. On Monday night (August 12), the former Love Island star, 29, was revealed as one of the many stars set to take to the infamous BBC ballroom this autumn. She was dramatically revealed alongside actress Alex Kingston and former footy ace Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink on The One Show.
Now, the mum-of-three has revealed that her family podcast which she hosts alongside her EastEnders star dad and mum Joanne Mas has been "put on hold" for a while. Speaking on the latest episode of their Live And Let Dyers podcast, Dani told fans: "This is actually going to be our last episode.
"We are done I would say for the end of summer, but we will be back very soon. We're just having a short break but we'll be back with loads of news, loads of gossip as always.
"So yeah, we just want to have our last little catch up with you all. And I hope you enjoy this last ep for now." The show's impromptu break comes as Dani gears up for Strictly which will return to the airwaves next month.
The doting mum will need time to rehearse for the big launch show and will be joined alongside Nitro from the Gladiators, EastEnders favourite Balvinder Sopal, YouTuber George Clarke, RuPaul's Drag Queen star La Voix, model Ellie Goldstein, and former rugby star Chris Robshaw.
Dani first shot to fame when she won Love Island back in 2018, but she confessed her involvement on the BBC show is world's away from the popular ITV dating show.
On joining Strictly, Dani said: "Getting the opportunity to be on Strictly is the second most amazing thing I've done this year! I feel very blessed and cannot wait to get my dancing shoes on."
It didn't take long before fans flooded to social media to share their excitement following Dani's announcement earlier this week. One user penned: "Woooo I love Dani!!!" as another echoed: "Whoop I love Dani! She'll be awesome."
