A retired judge’s kin was spared his life but not valuable belongings as he slept through a daring heist where thieves stole jewellery and cash worth lakhs from a retired judge’s home in Indore.

The undated video shows one thief looming over a sleeping member of the household with a possible weapon in his hand, ready to strike if he wakes up from his sleep.

The other thief, meanwhile, was seen stealing valuables from the almirah.

The video was shared on X by popular faceless account @Incognito_q, who said that there was another criminal involved. It also said that it was retired Justice Ramesh Garg’s home that was targeted.

The video showed that despite a loud ringing alarm, the resident did not wake up. The faceless account in the caption wrote: “They would have killed Justice Garg’s son (in the video) if he had woken up. Fortunately, he kept sleeping despite the loud alarm m. Security Guard was also sleeping".

They further added that the heist lasted 4 minutes and 10 seconds, and thieves fled with Rs 5 lakh and gold-silver jewellery.
