UP Police SI 2025 Registration: The wait for lakhs of candidates is finally over. UP Police Recruitment Board has released a notification for recruitment to 4543 posts of Sub Inspector. The registration process has started on12th August. Candidates can apply till 11th September. The official notification is available on the official website uppbpb.gov.in.
Interested candidates will be able to apply for UP Police SI Recruitment till 11th September. At the same time, the last date for adjusting the deposited fee has been fixed as 13th September, 2025.

UP Police SI Vacancy 2025: A Total of 4,543 posts to be recruited
A total of 4,543 posts will be filled through this recruitment drive. Of these, 4,242 vacancies are for Sub-Inspector (SI) Civil Police, while 135 vacancies are for Platoon Commander PAC/Sub-Inspector Armed Police. Apart from this, there are 60 vacancies for Platoon Commander/Sub Inspector, Special Security Force (Male only), and 106 vacancies for Women Battalion. UP Police SI Eligibility: Eligibility Criteria
In educational qualifications, the candidate should have a graduation degree from a recognized university in India or any other equivalent qualification recognized by the government.
UP Police SI Age Limit: 3 years relaxation in the age limit
The minimum age limit for applying is 21 years, and the maximum age limit is 28 years. The candidate should not have been born before 2 July 1997 or after 1 July 2004. Age will be calculated as of 1 July 2025.
Reserved category candidates will be given relaxation in the upper age limit as per the rules. Apart from this, the great news is that the recruitment board has given a year's relaxation in the age limit to all category candidates for this recruitment only.
UP SI Selection Process: Selection Process
Eligible candidates will be selected on the basis of written examination, document verification, physical test. The written examination will be of 400 marks. There will be four sections in the exam. In this, questions will be asked from General Hindi, Basic Law/Constitution/General Knowledge, Numerical and Mental Ability Test, Mental Aptitude Test/Intelligence Test/Logical Test. The duration of the exam will be 02 hours (120 minutes), in which a total of 160 questions will be asked.
