Yogi Adityanath's Criticism of the Samajwadi Party

During a 24-hour discussion on the Vision Document 2047, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath criticized the Samajwadi Party, likening it to a frog in a well—while the world progresses, they remain confined to their own limitations. He pointed out that the Samajwadi Party's development authority exemplifies this narrow-mindedness, stating that they only know how to focus on their own interests. This sentiment echoes the teachings of Swami Vivekananda.

Yogi further emphasized that the Samajwadi Party resembles a frog in a well, as they remain focused solely on their families while the world moves forward. He expressed concern that they wish to impose this mindset on Uttar Pradesh as well. He noted that 187 members participated in the discussion, highlighting the need for strategic planning for the future. He thanked all members, especially the opposition leaders, for their contributions to the dialogue.

While discussing the Vision Document, Yogi mentioned several key points. He stressed that every assembly constituency should benefit from government schemes and witness development. A developed Uttar Pradesh is essential for realizing the dream of a developed nation. He observed that some individuals were more focused on electricity than on development. Critiquing the Samajwadi Party, he reiterated that their development authority is a prime example of their limited vision. Swami Vivekananda's teachings resonate with this situation, as the party remains confined to its own interests while the world progresses.

Continuing his attack on the Samajwadi Party, Yogi stated that they avoid discussing the development projects in Mathura-Vrindavan, having previously announced plans to create a memorial for Duryodhana back in 2016. He claimed that the state is working on constructing 22 expressways, with the Meerut-Prayagraj Ganga Expressway set to be the largest in the country. He highlighted that India’s first rapid metro will connect Meerut to Delhi, yet the Samajwadi Party fails to acknowledge such advancements. Currently, Uttar Pradesh boasts the largest railway network in the country, with four operational airports and a fifth one in Jewar, which will be the largest airport in India.
