MP Weather 15 August 2025: In Madhya Pradesh today, on 15 August 2025, Independence Day is celebrated amidst the rain and strong winds. The Meteorological Department has issued a warning for the entire state. Rain has started in many districts since morning, while there is also a danger of lightning. The weather has suddenly changed in the capital Bhopal, Indore, Gwalior and other cities. Due to 6 active weather systems, heavy rains have been recorded in districts like Balaghat, Shivpuri and Morena.

Throughout the day (from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm), Pachmarhi received 42 mm, Guna 38 mm, Indore 14 mm and Tikamgarh 7 mm of rain. Bhopal also received heavy rains, but could not be recorded in the records.
The Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert of very heavy rainfall for Narmadapuram, Betul and Harda districts. Apart from this, there is also a warning of heavy rains in Raisen, Sehore, Burhanpur, Khandwa, Khargone, Barwani, Dhar, Indore, Dewas, Shivpuri and Gwalior. People have been advised to be vigilant due to lightning incidents.
