If you want to avoid the mess in payment, then Paytm users should do this work before 31 August or else….

New Delhi. From September 1, there is going to be a trouble in payment to millions of Indians. Subscription, and auto-speed services like insurance premiums, Netflix/Amazon Prime (Netflix/Amazon prime) may suddenly stop. The reason is that Paytm’s old UPI handle @Paytm is completely shut down. This news is important for millions of customers who still depend on the auto-payments associated with the old @Paytm handle. Trouble can be avoided by taking action in time.

Why is the shutdown happening?
The RBI banned the handle last year due to disturbances in Paytm Payments Bank. NPCI (National Payments Corporation) ordered all @Paytm users to shift to other banks. But many people have not yet changed their auto-feet.

31 August last deadline
NPCI has said that 31 August is the last deadline. It has been extended twice, now no time will be found. Banks and companies have been warned to help customers set up new payment links immediately.

Customers do this work immediately
1. Check all your auto-pay (insurance, subscription, loan EMI etc.).
2. If there is a @Paytm link anywhere, then cancel it.
3. Make a new auto-pay auto-paying with new bank account (eg SBI, HDFC, PhonePe or New Paytm-Yes Bank).
Keep in mind, no company or bank can change your auto-pay without your will. This work will have to be done on its own.

Where will the problem come?
– Insurance premium: An annual premium of about ₹ 14,000 crore may be stuck. The risk of policy laps.
– OTT/App Subscription: Services like Netflix, Amazon Prime, Spotify can suddenly stop.
– Loan/Credit Card Payment: If EMI is not paid, late fees or credit score may be damaged.

Alert! If you do not do this…
If you do not transfer an auto-pay before September 1, insurance companies will send reminders, subscription services will be suspended, manual payment will take extra hard work.
