Stree shakti scheme andhra pradesh: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Friday launched a new and ambitious plan ‘Stree Shakti’, which aims to provide free bus travel to women, girls and transgender citizens of the state. The scheme was inaugurated with a large ceremony in the capital Amravati, in which prominent NDA leaders and colleagues were also present.

Women’s movement will be easy
Please tell that under the ‘Stree Shakti’ scheme, women eligible in all government buses of the state will now be able to travel without paying any fare. This facility will be available only to those women who have permanent citizenship of Andhra Pradesh. The purpose of this step is to give women easy and accessible to education, jobs, health services and social activities.

CM took stock of the scheme by sitting in bus
At the same time, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu himself traveled in a bus to spread this scheme to the people. He was accompanied by Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan and IT Minister Nara Lokesh. These leaders communicated lightly with women and tried to understand their expectations from the new government.

Free travel will be available in these bus services
In fact, the bus services of Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC) which have been implemented this facility include Pallevalugu, Ultra Pallevalugu, City Ordinary, Metro Express and Express services. Out of a total of 11,449 government buses, about 74 percent of the buses will now be open for free for women. According to an estimate, about 2.62 crore women will be able to avail this scheme.

One of the important promises of ‘Super Six’ promises
This scheme is one of the ‘Super Six’ promises made by Chandrababu Naidu before the election. These promises include ₹ 1,500 per month financial assistance to women, 20 lakh jobs for youth or ₹ 3,000 unemployment allowance, ₹ 15,000 annual assistance (Taliki Vandanam) to every student, three free gas cylinders (Deepam-2) (Deepam-2) and 20, 000 annual assistance (Annadata Sukhabhav) scheme to farmers.

Big step towards making self -sufficient
The ‘Stree Shakti’ scheme is not just a free travel facility, but it is a strong initiative towards making women more active, self -sufficient and capable in society. This scheme is becoming a symbol of social justice as well as women empowerment, which will help Andhra Pradesh in the direction of an inclusive state.
