The display, now an annual tradition, has become a symbol of friendship between India and the UAE. This year’s illumination once again highlighted India’s journey since achieving independence in 1947.

Earlier in the day, the Indian Consulate in Dubai held a flag-hoisting ceremony. During his address, the Consul General praised India’s progress in governance, the building of strong digital infrastructure, and advancements in space technology.

Observed with pride by millions of Indians worldwide, the Burj Khalifa tribute remains a striking visual representation of India’s resilience and its growing influence on the global stage.
