What is the material
Paneer – 250 grams (cubes and slightly grated)
Tomato-3-4 (big)
Onion – 2 (finely chopped)
Ginger-garlic paste-1 tbsp
Green Chilli – 2 (Finely chopped)
Spices – turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, garam masala
Whole Spices – Cloves, Cardamom, Cinnamon
Cashew-15-20
Fresh cream or cream-2-3 tbsp
Kasuri Methi – 1 teaspoon
Green coriander – finely chopped
Oil and butter (butter) – as required
Salt – as per taste
Easy recipe for making
First of all, heat some oil in a pan. Boil thick chopped tomatoes, whole spices, cashews and some water. When the tomatoes become soft, turn off the gas and let the mixture cool. After cooling, grind it in a mixer and make a smooth paste.
Now heat oil and butter in a pan. Add finely chopped onion to it and fry till it becomes golden. Then add ginger-garlic paste and green chili and fry for some time.
Now add turmeric, red chili and coriander powder to it. Add some water and fry the spices well so that rawness comes out. After this, add the prepared tomato-kaju gravy. Cook it until the oil starts separating from the gravy.
Add salt, garam masala and kasuri fenugreek (mashing with hands) to the gravy. Mix well. Now add cheese cubes and a little grated cheese. Cook for 2-3 minutes on low flame.
Then before turning off the gas, add fresh cream or cream and mix well. This will bring a creamy and rich texture in the gravy. Finally garnish with finely chopped green coriander.
Your delicious and wonderful dhaba style cheese is ready. Serve it with hot naan, lacha paratha or tandoori roti and enjoy dhaba taste.
