On Monday afternoon, many customers reported issues with both mobile and broadband services, stating they were unable to make calls or connect to the internet. Outage tracker Downdetector noted that reports of the problem began to emerge around 3:30 PM, with several users taking to social media platform X to share their experiences and confirm the outage.
In response to the growing concerns, Airtel acknowledged the service disruption in a post on X. Addressing a user who highlighted difficulties faced by Airtel mobile users in the Delhi NCR region, the company assured that they were actively working to resolve the situation. "We are currently experiencing a network outage. Our team is diligently working to restore services as quickly as possible. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. Thank you for your patience, Team Airtel," the company stated.
