According to the Meteorological Department, a warning has been issued for East Champaran, West Champaran, Gopalganj, Sitamarhi, Shivhar, Muzaffarpur, Madhubani, Darbhanga, Supaul, Kishanganj, Araria, Purnia, Katihar, Kaimur, Rohtas, Aurangabad, Gaya, Nawada, Jamui and Banka. Monsoon is going to be active again gradually from tomorrow.

Alert on 20 and 21 August too

In fact, orange and yellow alerts have been issued in entire Bihar on 20 and 21 August. The Meteorological Department has predicted intermittent rains in North Bihar for the next few days. It is expected from this forecast that people will get more relief from the heat in the coming days and the crops of the farmers will be better.

Because of this the monsoon will be active

According to the IMD forecast, the monsoon trough is likely to be south of its normal position in Bihar and a cyclonic circulation may develop over Gangetic West Bengal and adjoining areas, which will likely bring more moisture. Due to this, the chances of rain have increased.
