The services of the country's largest telecom company, Airtel, suddenly came to a halt on Monday afternoon. Thousands of users complained on social media platforms that they were facing trouble in making calls, and their internet data was also not working. According to outage tracking websites, there was a sudden surge in reports of problems related to Airtel after noon, which affected many users across the country.

The problem started increasing from around 4 pm, and the number of complaints reached thousands within no time.

Users were seen continuously complaining about the network being down on social media platforms. According to the data from Downdetector, there was a sudden surge in complaints around 4 pm, and more than 2,500 reports were registered at peak time. Usually, Airtel's complaints are very low, but this time reports came from all over the country. Especially from big cities like Delhi, Mumbai, and Bangalore, most users expressed problems.

Both calls and data were affected.
The outage report revealed that 56% users faced problems with mobile calling, 26% had mobile internet shutdown, and 18% users did not get any network signal at all. The outage map also clearly showed that a large number of people were affected in urban areas.

Users are angry, and work is affected.

Many customers complained that despite recharging, their data was not working. Users in Bengaluru said that Airtel's 4G was down for a long time, which affected their online work. Some customers even said that if the network quality remained the same, they might consider changing the company.

The company apologized
Amidst growing anger, Airtel stated on social media and acknowledged the problem. The company said, "We are currently facing a network outage. Our team is working continuously so that the service can be restored as soon as possible. We apologize for the inconvenience caused."
