According to the police, thieves entered the DK Sons office in Kapodara area of Surat between August 15 and 17. The thieves broke the company’s vault and crossed the diamonds.

The thieves cut the vault with a gas cutter and flew the diamonds.

DK Sons owner Devendra Chaudhary has complained to Kapodara police station about the theft of diamonds from his office. The owner of the company said in the complaint that on the afternoon of August 15, he polished and without polish, he kept the diamonds in the office of the office on the fourth floor of the building and then went home. After this, there was a three -day holiday in the company on the occasion of Independence Day and Janmashtami. There was neither an employee nor a security personnel in the office during the holiday. According to Devendra Chaudhary, on reaching the office on Monday, he saw that the lock of the main door was broken and the diamond is missing from the vault. The stolen diamonds cost 25 crores.

After receiving a complaint from Devendra Chaudhary, senior police officers reached the spot. An attempt was made to find the thieves by calling forensic experts and dog squads, but it did not succeed. DCP Alok Kumar of Surat Zone-1 has said that the crime branch of the police has been given the task of solving the theft of 25 crore diamonds. According to him, instead of the incident, cigarette pieces, gutkha and empty pouches of tobacco have been found. According to the DCP, Devendra Chaudhary removed a security personnel a month ago. He used to call his friends and talk. The police also suspect that security personnel. His mobile has been found active in Jharkhand. Other employees of DK Sons have also been questioned by the police. The special thing is that the vicious thieves had also broken CCTVs and took out DVR and took them along. Police have found out the arrival of three to four youths for gas cutters from auto in another CCTV footage.
