Method (Kadhi Chawal Recipe)
- First of all, beat gram flour and curd in a big pot so that the kernels do not remain. Add turmeric, salt, asafetida, ginger and water and mix it well. This solution should be thin so that the curry becomes thick when cooked.
- Put the solution in a deep pan or pan and cook on medium heat. Keep stirring it continuously so that the curd does not break and does not install it down. Cook for 20-25 minutes until the curry boils and becomes thick.
- Heat ghee in a small tempering pan. Add cumin seeds, fenugreek seeds, whole red chili and green chili/curry leaves. When the spices start crackling, the tempering is ready. Pour this tempering in a hot curry and cover it.
For rice
