BPSC: Bihar Public Service Commission has declared the result of the candidates who completed the 18-month D.El.Ed course from NIOS and appeared in the teacher recruitment examination held on December 15, 2023. These teachers will be appointed for classes 1 to 5. The commission has released the list of selected candidates, subject-wise.
The result PDF is available on the official website of BPSC bpsc.bihar.gov.in. All the candidates who appeared in the recruitment examination can check the result. It is written in the result PDF that the candidates included in the list will have to go through the next phase of the recruitment process. In this phase, the concerned administrative department will check the veracity of the claims related to academic, pre-educational, teacher eligibility test, and other qualifications of the recommended candidates.
A total of 398 candidates selected for the general subject
A total of 398 candidates have been declared successful for appointment for the general subject. The result includes the names of a total of 64 candidates from the unreserved category, a total of 310 from the SC category, and 24 from the ST category. It is worth noting that all the candidates declared successful in the SC and ST categories are women.
100 selected for the Hindi subject
A total of 100 candidates have been declared successful for the Hindi subject. This includes the names of 5 candidates from the unreserved category, 13 from EWS, 23 from SC, 3 from ST, 31 from the EBC category, 19 from BC, and 6 from the BCL category.
65 selected for the Sanskrit subject
A total of 65 candidates have been declared successful for the Sanskrit subject. This includes one from the unreserved category, 26 from EWS, 6 from SC, one from ST, 14 from the EBC category, and 17 from BC.
243 selected for the English subject
A total of 243 candidates have been declared successful for the Sanskrit subject. This includes the names of 51 candidates from the unreserved category, 34 from EWS, 28 from SC, 3 from ST, 66 from the EBC category, 56 from BC, and 5 from BCL.
A total of 233 candidates have been declared successful for the Social Science subject. 249 candidates have been selected for the Mathematics subject and 171 for the Urdu subject.
It is worth noting that on the basis of the decision of the Supreme Court, candidates who did an 18-month D.El.Ed. The course from NIOS also became eligible for teacher recruitment.
