Varanasi News: The anti-ragging webpage has been launched in IMS BHU on Monday. Here, the aggrieved students will be able to directly register their complaints with BHU or IMS BHU's anti-ragging squad on the email ID given below the link. All emergency numbers will be available with a single click.

The anti-ragging squad claims that the investigation of the case will start within an hour, and the preliminary report will be submitted within six hours. Quick redressal, transparency, and accountability will be ensured. This special webpage has been launched on the conclusion of the ongoing anti-ragging week in BHU.

According to Prof. Sunil Rao, head of IMS BHU anti-ragging squad, who was present during this time, this online platform will help in making BHU a ragging-free campus. On this, the director's message on anti-ragging, guidelines, and phone numbers of all the officials will be available on a single click. At present, the webpage is being upgraded. In this, the time taken to register a complaint is being reduced, and arrangements are being made to register a complaint with a single click.

IMS BHU Director Prof. SN Sankhwar said that IMS BHU ranks among the top five institutions of the country. Complete elimination of ragging is necessary to maintain this reputation. The Dean said that ragging will not be tolerated under any circumstances. Prof. Rita Singh said that when students are punished or expelled due to ragging, it hurts all of us.

Anti-ragging awareness week was held from 12th to 18th August.

Squad's Prof. Lalit Mohan Agarwal said that Anti-ragging awareness week was celebrated in IMS BHU from 12th to 18th August. Debate competition, street play, and valedictory session were held on Monday.

Zero tolerance towards ragging - build a safe campus together. On the theme of 'Strict anti-ragging law vs moral appeal', mutual respect and cooperation were appealed in the debate competition and street play by showing mental, emotional, and academic losses. Prof. Madhu G. was in the jury. Taparia, Dr. Dhirendra Kumar Rai, Dr. Poonam Pandey, Dr. Santosh Kumar Singh, Dr. Bala Lakhendra and Namrata Singh. Prizes and certificates were distributed to the winners. They appreciated the clarity, confidence and deep thinking of the students.
