Bcci selection commissione: The BCCI’s Senior Men and Women Selection Committee recently announced teams for the upcoming Asia Cup and Women’s Cricketer World Cup. After which, now there are going to be major changes in Senior Men and Women Selection Committee and Junior Men Selection Committee. The board has sought applications for the posts of national selector of the three committees.
The BCCI has invited applications for two posts in the Male National Selection Committee. The selected members will be responsible for selecting the Indian team for all formats – tests, ODIs, T20s and any other format set by BCCI. Whereas, applications have been invited for two posts in the Women’s National Selection Committee. Members of the Women’s Selection Committee will oversee the selection of Team India (senior women) in various formats and age groups. The role also includes checking coaches and collaborative staff, preparing evaluation reports and ensuring a strong bench strength.
Applications for a post have been invited to the Junior Men’s National Selection Committee. The selected members will be responsible for selecting the age group teams (under-22) for camps, tours and tournaments. This role also includes organizing junior tournaments, appointment of captains and associate staff and promoting moral values among young players.
