Popular Pakistani YouTuber Rajab Butt has shared his views on the arrest of fellow content creator and former friend, Ducky Bhai, in the ongoing betting app case.

The two YouTubers were once close friends, often appearing together in videos and attending each other’s family events. However, their friendship soured after disagreements over a joint project and personal remarks involving their mutual friend Nadeem Nani Wala.

Ducky Bhai, whose real name is Saad ur Rehman, was taken into custody by law enforcement authorities in connection with alleged promotion of betting applications. He has been placed on physical remand while investigations continue.

Reacting to the development, Rajab Butt said he understood why action had been taken but questioned the selective accountability. “The law should be equal for everyone. We all saw PSL players wearing jerseys with a betting app logo. Ads were running nationwide. Why aren’t the big fish being questioned?” he remarked.

He further highlighted that hundreds of influencers have been associated with such apps, yet only a handful are being targeted. “They are easy to arrest. But what about the rest?” he asked.

Despite their differences, Rajab extended well wishes to his former friend. “I wish Ducky and his family strength in this difficult time,” he said.

Earlier, Famous Pakistani YouTuber Saad Rehman, widely known as Ducky Bhai, has been arrested in Lahore. The arrest took place when he was leaving the country with his wife. Police confirmed that he is facing charges of promoting betting and gambling applications among youth. Other cases had already been registered against him.

Ducky Bhai has nearly 9 million subscribers on YouTube. He is followed in Pakistan, India, Bangladesh and Nepal. His vlogs, mostly based on family life, have gained him huge popularity. However, his recent activities have brought him under serious criticism.

Before the arrest, Ducky Bhai went viral for showcasing a lavish house in DHA Raya, Lahore. He claimed the property, worth around Rs 10 crore, was his own. In a vlog, he gave his fans a full tour of the residence. Many praised his success and admired the house.

Soon after, a property dealer from DHA Raya exposed Ducky’s claim. Realtor Armaghan Rana released a video stating that the house was not purchased, but rented. According to him, Ducky Bhai rented the house for Rs 400,000 per month.
