New Delhi. The Supreme Court has surprised the inaction of political parties during the hearing on Friday on the intensive revision (SIR) case of the voter list in Bihar. In fact, political parties have not taken any steps to get the names of the people removed from the voter list again in the voter list. During the hearing, the Election Commission said that 85 thousand new voters have been added to the voter list. Also, the Election Commission said that only two objections have been lodged through booth level agents of political parties.

The court said that any person can apply online by himself or with the help of booth level agents of political parties. They do not need to submit the form physically. The Supreme Court also said that all the 12 political parties of Bihar should issue instructions to their party workers to help the people so that people can apply online in the event of name cut from the voter list.
