Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be visiting Gujarat on 25 and 26 August. According to the information, Prime Minister Modi will inaugurate a total of six projects. This includes road widening, underpass, overbridge and renewal work. The government says that these projects will not only get the benefit of safe and easy travel to people, but will also accelerate industrial and economic activities.
The most important project is of Viramgam-Khudd-Rampura road. The 21 km long route has been widened seven meters wide at a cost of about Rs 33 crore. This will give a boost to the development of industrial sector in Viramgam and Detroz tehsils of Ahmedabad district. Local employment opportunities will also arise and the transport system will become smooth.
Apart from this, the Prime Minister will lay the foundation stone of other works costing Rs 274 crore. Among them, three six-lane vehicle underpass at a cost of Rs 126 crore on Ahmedabad-Mehsana-Palanpur Road, Railway overbridge of Rs 70 crore on gate number 40 on Ahmedabad-Viramgam Road, Railway Overbridge of Rs 70 crore, Kadi-Thol to Sanand to Snand to renovate Rs 45 crore for 24 km long route and Bapa Sitaram Junction in Gift City in Gandhinagar to extend the 33 crore rupees to extend the 33 million rupees Work is involved.
Thousands of drivers of Ahmedabad, Mehsana and Gandhinagar districts will directly benefit from these projects. The newly constructed underpasses and overbridge will save travel time and fuel. It will be easy to reach tourist destinations like Thol Sanctuary and emerging Fintech Hub will get better connectivity in Gift City.
