A young man was apprehended by the police for climbing the historic clock tower in Meerut while dressed as 'Spider-Man' and filming perilous stunts.

On Saturday, authorities confirmed the identity of the arrested individual as Faraz, a resident of Abrar Nagar in Meerut. He is known on social media as 'Spider Faraz' and has previously filmed stunts atop various tall buildings.

Following directives from the Senior Superintendent of Police in Meerut, the Delhi Gate police station registered a case against him and took action. Police officials emphasized that such stunts are not only life-threatening but also disrespectful to historical monuments. They assured that strict measures will continue against such incidents.
