This time, the apprenticeship is going to be held by West Central Railway, in which 10th pass candidates can also apply. For this, 2,865 posts have been set by the Railways. Youth will have to apply online for an apprenticeship. Applications for this can be made till 29 September.

West Central Railway is going to recruit apprentices to train youth in various technical fields like fitter, welder, and electrician. Let us tell you, in this, 558 posts have been set for the Bhopal division, 1136 posts for the Jabalpur division, and 865 posts for the Kota division.

Apart from this, 136 posts have been fixed for CRWS Bhopal, 151 for WRS Kota Workshop, and 19 for Jabalpur Headquarters. After being selected for these posts, the youth will be given training in the prescribed period of 6 months to 1 year.

The application process for the apprenticeship is going to start from Saturday, 30 August, and interested candidates will be able to apply till 29 September 2025. Candidates can apply online by visiting the website of West Central Railway www.wcr.indianrailways.gov.in.

The qualification of the candidate has been prescribed for the application, in which it is necessary to have a 10th from any recognized board. Also, there should be at least 50 percent marks in the 10th grade. The age limit of the candidate should be between 15 and 24 years, and they should have an ITI certificate in the relevant trade.

Apart from this, candidates of the Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Other Backward Classes, and Divyang categories will also be given relaxation in the age limit. At the same time, in the selection process, the merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in class 10th and ITI for the candidates who apply first.

The candidate will be selected on the basis of merit only, in which the candidate will not have to go through any type of written examination or interview process. At the same time, the application fee has been fixed at Rs 100.

While applying for an apprenticeship, it will be mandatory for the candidate to attach a passport-size photo, signature photo, birth certificate, photo of class 10th mark sheet, ITI mark sheet, and caste certificate.
