She shared the prompt to use: "I need help with [PROBLEM, e.g. high broadband bill]. You are a [ROLE, e.g. consumer adviser, energy consultant, Martin Lewis, etc.].

"Based on my latest bill [upload], suggest cost-effective alternatives that offer the same service.

"Ask clarifying questions until you're 95% confident, and search the internet for up-to-date information with links."

She continued: "Once ChatGPT finds you a great deal, check that the deal exists online.

"Then, contact your current provider to see if they can beat it. You can use ChatGPT to help you with how to phrase this:

"Act as a professional bill negotiator and draft a polite but firm script for calling [PROVIDER].

"I've been a customer for X years and found a similar plan from [COMPETITOR] that's $XX cheaper. Use loyalty and the competitor price to help me secure a lower rate."
