Gwalior Regional Tourism Conclave: In the presence of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, the Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board is going to organize the Regional Tourism Conclave in Gwalior Rajmata Vijayaraje Scindia Agricultural University on 29 and 30 August. The list of the chief guests of the program will include Union Minister of Communications and North Eastern Region Development Minister Shri Jyotiraditya Scindia, Madhya Pradesh Assembly Speaker Shri Narendra Singh Tomar and Minister of State for Tourism, Culture and Religious Trust and Religion (Independent Charge) Mr. Dharmendra Singh Lodhi. Apart from this, famous actors Mr. Piyush Mishra and Mr. Faisal Malik will be specially present there.
Keeping in mind the tourism capabilities of Chambal and Sagar region of Gwalior, this Regional Tourism Conclave is being organized to encourage tourism investment in the state. "Timeless Gwalior: Conclave focused on the theme of Ecoz of Culture, Spirit of Legacy is an important initiative towards promoting tourism investment, cultural heritage, experienced tourism and regional development. It is worth noting that Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board will organize Madhya Pradesh Travel Mart in Bhopal from 11 to 13 October-2025.
There will be many important agreements to promote tourism development in the conclave. Later of Awards (LOA) will be presented to investors in the hotels, resorts, wellness and eco-tourism sector. There will be an MoU with Man Singh Tomar University of Gwalior for the capacity building of traditional musicians, folk artists and tourist villages. There will be contracts with Yap Digital, Cryon's Advertising, Zee Entertainment Enterprises Limited, Concept Communications for Influencer Marketing and Promotion. These agreements will not only increase the trust of investors, but the local community and artists will also be directly benefited.
New projects will also be started in the conclave. Among them, the institution delberto will be an important partnership in the marketing of the handicraft. With this partnership, handicraft lovers will be able to buy the magnificent goods prepared by them by joining our artisans directly through a special e-commerce platform. In collaboration with IndiGo and Aga Khan Foundation, conservation, landscaping and Illuminating works will be worshiped in Gwalior Fort under CSR. Under the Swadesh Darshan 2.0, the foundation stone of experienced tourism projects will be laid in Phool Bagh of Gwalior. Also, the foundation stone of development works will be laid at Man Singh Tomar Music University.
The Regional Tourism Conclave will have two important sessions. "Tourism az a Cultural Bridge - Branding Gwalior and Hartland of MP" will be the subject panel discussion, which will consider strategies to install Gwalior's cultural heritage, classical music and architecture on a global tourism map. The second panel discussion will be focused on "Gwalior and Chambal Rising - Inbound Appeal Through Heritage, Luxury and Experience", with new dimensions on new dimensions such as heritage, luxury stay, destination wedding and experienced tourism.
The Regional Tourism Conclave will discuss bilateral dialogue and investment possibilities between travel operators, hotel businessmen and stakeholders associated with the tourism sector. This session will prove to be important not only for the development of regional tourism, but also from the point of view of national tourism prosperity.
The pride of Madhya Pradesh will be seen in the cultural evening of the Regional Tourism Conclave. During this time folk art will be presented by artists. Similarly, Maihar band will tie Saman. A special tourism exhibition will also be organized in this conclave, which will be set up in Madhya Pradesh's various tourist destinations, tourism units, hospitality brands, homestands, resorts, handlooms/handicrafts, adventure activities and stalls dedicated to cultural heritage. This exhibition will give investors, travel agents, tour operators, local entrepreneurs and visitors on a platform to directly present the possibilities in the tourism sector.
The conclave will also have influencers meat. It will include influencers from Gwalior -Chambal region and will get an opportunity to meet actor Mr. Faisal Malik. Similarly, a yoga session will be organized at Gwalior Fort from 6:30 am on 30 and 31 August. The Familiations Tour (Fam Tour) will be organized for selected guests and delegates, which aims to directly familiarize the participants with the possibilities of Gwalior and nearby tourist destinations. Through this special tour, delegates will be given the natural beauty, cultural heritage, historical importance etc. of the region, so that they can connect deeply in terms of investment, publicity and tourism development.
