However, it seems Aditya is not giving up on the idea of a mythological epic. According to the latest reports, he is planning a new mythological saga with Ranveer following the completion of Dhurandhar. Now, the two are looking to take that collaboration to the next level with a grand mythological action film, which they plan to co-produce under their own banners. Aditya is set to begin writing the script next year, once Ranveer finishes his current commitments. If all goes according to plan, the film could begin production as early as 2027.   New project is not a revival of Ashwatthama - Report Despite speculation, this new project is not a revival of The Immortal Ashwatthama, which never materialised after years of planning. Instead, Aditya has shifted his focus to a completely fresh and equally ambitious story rooted in Hindu mythology, with Ranveer expected to play a larger-than-life character that will be unlike anything he's done before. The future of this mythological venture, however, hinges on the success of Dhurandhar at the box office. If the film is a hit, the new project could gain momentum quickly, but if it underperforms, the high budget and risks involved in such an ambitious film could make it more difficult to move forward.
