Material (Ganesh utsav special, anjeer modak recipe)
- Dried figs – 1 cup (chopped into small pieces)
- Date – 1 cup (finely chopped by removing seeds)
- Cashew – 2 tablespoons (chopped)
- Almonds – 2 tablespoons (chopped)
- Pistachio – 1 tablespoon (chopped)
- Ghee – 1 tablespoon
- Cardamom Powder – ½ tsp
- Melon seeds – 1 tablespoon

Method (Ganesh utsav special, anjeer modak recipe)
1- First of all, soak figs in little lukewarm water for 10 minutes so that it becomes soft. Then remove the water and grind it with dates in the grinder. Make a thick paste.

2- Put 1 tablespoon of ghee in a pan and fry the chopped cashews, almonds and pistachios until it becomes light golden.
3- Now add fig-khajur paste in the same pan and cook on medium heat for 5-7 minutes. When the mixture dries slightly and thickens, then add cardamom powder and roasted nuts.
4- Allow the mixture to cool slightly so that it can be shaped with modak with hands.
5- Now take a little mixture and give the shape of modak by hand. If you want, you can also use modak mold (mold). Now your fig modak is ready. Offer them to Ganesha and distribute them with the family.
