- First heat ghee in a heavy bottom pan. Now add gram flour to it and fry on low flame continuously.

- When the gram flour starts to smell good and the color becomes light golden, then turn off the gas. Allow it to cool slightly (hot but touched by hand).
- Now add ground sugar and cardamom powder to roasted gram flour and mix well. If you want, you can also add finely chopped dry fruits.
- Now make small modaks with this mixture. If you have a modak cam, then fill the mixture and shape. If not, then you can make a light peak from the top by making a laddus by hand so that they look like modak.
- Prepare all the modaks and keep it in a plate. Let it cool a little, then offer Bappa.
