Legendary Pakistani actress Nisho Begum has finally broken her silence regarding ongoing rumors about her alleged fourth marriage—making a bold and candid statement that has gone viral across social media platforms.

In a recent interview, the senior actress was asked whether she had secretly tied the knot for a fourth time, as suggested by circulating gossip. In response, Nisho clarified that while she is currently enjoying life to the fullest, she has not accepted any recent marriage proposals.

“I’m simply living my life right now and turning down the offers that are coming my way,” she said with a smile. “My children have no issues with me remarrying. And if God has written a fourth marriage in my fate, it will happen. These things are in His hands.”

Nisho Begum firmly believes that age should never be a barrier when it comes to marriage. “Marriage has nothing to do with age,” she said. “If it is meant to be, it will be—regardless of how old I am.”

She further commented on society’s double standards, especially when it comes to women’s right to remarry. “In countries like Saudi Arabia, if a woman becomes widowed or divorced, she is married off again without delay—even ten times, if necessary,” she pointed out. “But in our society, marriage—especially for women—is turned into a complicated issue.”

Quoting religious grounds, she added, “When religion allows it, then if it’s in my destiny, I will go ahead and have a fourth marriage without hesitation.”

Nisho’s comments have sparked widespread conversation online, with many praising her confidence and progressive mindset. Her bold take on societal norms around remarriage and women’s rights has resonated with many fans and followers.

For context, Nisho Begum’s first marriage took place in 1970, which ended in divorce in 1976. She later married writer Taslim Fazli in 1978, who sadly passed away in 1982. In 1986, she married director Jamal Pasha, who died in 2019.

Rumors about a possible fourth marriage have been circulating for the past several days, prompting public curiosity. However, Nisho’s latest interview has made it clear that, for now, she remains single—but open to what destiny has in store.
