This shameful incident is from Talaja area of Bhavnagar. A 29 -year -old married man, who lived with his younger sister, attacked her honor. He raped his sister not only once, but twice at the tip of the knife. Investigation revealed that the brother was blackmailing his sister due to his love affair. He carried out this disgusting act twice in July and August. The victim finally lost the courage to tolerate this atrocity and sought help on 181 helpline. This call highlighted the brother’s cruelty, after which the police immediately arrested him.
Bhavnagar police came into action as soon as the complaint was received on 181 helpline. On the basis of the victim’s complaint, the Talaja police immediately initiated action and took the accused brother into custody.
