Pradosh vrat 2025: Pradosh fast is kept on the Trayodashi date of every month. In the Sanatan tradition, the blessings of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati are considered to be very important. This time Pradosh fast will be observed on Friday 5 September. Due to falling on Friday, it will also be called Venus Pradosh Vrat. In such a situation, let us know when the first Pradosh fast of September will be observed.
This is the date of the first Pradosh fast and auspicious time of September-
Let us tell you, the Trayodashi date of the Shukla Paksha of Bhadrapada month is starting at 4.8 am on Satambar. At the same time, this date is going to conclude on 6 September at 3.12 am.
In such a situation, Pradosh fast will be observed on Friday 5 September. Due to falling on Friday, it will also be called Venus Pradosh Vrat.

In this way, worship Lord Shiva in Pradosh fast
On the day of Venus Pradosh fast, get up early in the morning and take a pledge to fast and take bath etc.
After cleaning the temple, spray Ganga water.
Lay clean red cloth at a post and install the idol of Shiva and Parvati ji.
Anoint Shiva ji with raw milk, Ganga water, and pure water.
Now offer Belpatra, Dhatura and cannabis etc. to Mahadev in worship.
Offer kheer, fruits, pudding etc. in the form of indulgence.
Offer 16 Shringar content to Mata Parvati.
