Pakistani host and actor Ayesha Jahanzeb, known for her strong personality and diverse talents, recently opened up in a heartfelt interview with Haroon Rafique on Popcorn Digital’s YouTube show. The actress, who rose to fame through Geo TV’s popular satire show Khabarnak and later hosted A Plus’s controversial show Chocolate Timedreflected on her personal experiences and views on materialism, love, and the essence of inner beauty.

In the interview, Ayesha shared her perspective on the increasing obsession with wealth and appearance in today’s society. “I look for compassion and kindness in a man,” she said, emphasizing that true value lies in character rather than possessions. “Clothes, shoes, watches, and cars are temporary. These things are useless, but unfortunately, people focus on these superficial things,” she added.

Having faced profound personal challenges, including the tragic loss of her first husband to cancer at a young age and her recent divorce from her second husband due to domestic abuse, Ayesha’s words carry the weight of lived experience. Despite the hardships, she continues to raise her five children with resilience and grace. Her daughter Zoya has recently stepped into acting, following in her mother’s footsteps.

Speaking about money, Ayesha shared a metaphor that resonated with many: “Money is like that one ‘betrayer lover’ — with you one day, gone the next. It’s useless to chase it endlessly.” She acknowledged that while money is essential for fulfilling basic needs, excessive wealth often becomes a burden. “If you buy a Ferrari and get into an accident, what’s the point of it?” she asked.

She concluded by encouraging people to appreciate their fortunes and embrace love and empathy over materialism. “Endorse your fortune and love it,” Ayesha urged, reminding audiences of the fleeting nature of material wealth and the lasting value of compassion.

Her candid take serves as a much-needed reminder in today’s fast-paced, material-driven culture, highlighting the importance of staying grounded, valuing inner beauty, and prioritizing meaningful human connections.
