Kal Ka Mausam: In North India, the havoc of rain is not taking the name of stopping. From Jammu and Kashmir to Delhi-NCR, water is being done everywhere. Heavy rains and floods in Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana and Punjab have disturbed life. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has warned that torrential rains will continue in northwest India for the next few days. Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand will have the highest rains. There is a possibility of heavy to very heavy rainfall in these areas. The Indian Meteorological Department has issued a red alert especially for Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. The effect of rain will also be seen in western Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab and Delhi-NCR. These states may receive moderate to heavy rainfall, which can make floods and waterlogging more serious.
According to the Meteorological Department, an active monsoon system is stuck in northwest India. Due to this, heavy rains are expected in Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand and western Uttar Pradesh for the next 48 hours. There is a possibility of intermittent rain in Delhi-NCR, which may increase the problems of jam and waterlogging on the roads. People have been appealed that if they are not necessary, do not get out of the house and stay in safe places.
Apart from North India, the weather may be a little pleasant in Central India and Southern states. Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Maharashtra are expected to have light to moderate rains. At the same time, South India may receive sporadic rains in Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Kerala. Light rains are also expected in eastern India, especially West Bengal and Odisha. However, there is less possibility of flood -like situation in these areas.
