Supreme Court Recruitment 2025: Vacancy has come out for the post of Court Master (Shorthand) in the Supreme Court. The application process for these posts has started on 30 August. Interested candidates can apply for this recruitment by visiting the official website of SCI sci.gov.in till 15 September. Applications have been invited for a total of 30 posts. Application has to be made only in online mode.
Out of the total posts, 16 posts are reserved for the General Category, 4 posts for Scheduled Caste (SC), 2 posts for Scheduled Tribe (ST), and 8 posts for Other Backward Classes (OBC). Who can apply?
The applicant should have a degree from a recognized university. Along with this, it is necessary to have a speed of 120 words per minute in English shorthand and 40 words per minute in typing on a computer. Candidates should also have at least 5 years of experience in the relevant stenography or secretary post. The age of the applicant should be between 30 and 45 years.
How much is the application fee?
General category candidates will have to pay Rs 1500, and SC, ST, OBC, Divyang, ex-servicemen, and freedom fighters' dependents will have to pay Rs 750 as the application fee. This payment can be made through the UCO Bank payment gateway. The application dates will be announced soon.
How will the selection be done, and how much salary will be given?
The selection process will be completed in four stages. First, there will be a shorthand test. After this, an objective-type written test will be taken. In the third stage, there will be a typing speed test on the computer, and finally there will be an interview. The initial basic salary of the selected candidates under Pay Matrix Level 11 is Rs 67,700. Apart from this, other allowances will also be given as per the rules of the government.
