Samsung is gearing up for its last Galaxy Event of the year, scheduled for September 4, 2025. The event will showcase the launch of the highly anticipated Samsung Galaxy S25 FE phone globally, including India. Alongside the Galaxy S25 FE, Samsung will also unveil the new Galaxy Tab S11 series, a line of AI-powered tablets for which pre-orders have already begun in India.
The Samsung Galaxy S25 FE is expected to be the most affordable handset in the Galaxy S25 lineup, with prices in India likely ranging between Rs 55,000 and Rs 60,000. This pricing is slightly higher than last year’s Galaxy S24 FE launch price of Rs 54,999. The phone will be available in multiple colors including Black, White, and Icy Blue.
Key specifications of the Galaxy S25 FE include a 6.7-inch FHD+ LTPO AMOLED display with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, powered by the Galaxy S2400 chipset (also used in the Galaxy S24 series). It will come with 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB of UFS 4.0 internal storage, ensuring fast and efficient performance.
The device is equipped with a sizeable 4900mAh battery supporting 45W wired fast charging and 15W wireless charging. It will ship with One UI 8 based on Android 16 and feature advanced Galaxy AI capabilities.
Photography enthusiasts will appreciate the triple rear camera setup comprising a 50MP main sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS), a 12MP ultrawide lens, and an 8MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom. On the front, there is a 12MP camera for selfies and video calls.
Overall, the Galaxy S25 FE stands out as a premium yet relatively affordable flagship option, poised to compete with contemporaries like OnePlus 13 and the upcoming iPhone 16. The September 4 event will be virtual and streamed live on Samsung’s official sites and YouTube channel.
