Saroj husband Kundan Mali, a 50 -year -old woman living in Basant Vihar, Ujjain, lived alone in Ujjain, her husband has died and she was a retired military. The woman’s children work outside. On August 12, Nagda from Ujjain reached her sister’s house for treatment when the woman became ill. On the same day, in the evening, a woman of the accused woman called herself a policeman of Birla village police station and said that an FIR has been lodged in the house for raising fish and turtles. During this, a young man also called and told that he was also arrested in this case. Hearing this, Saroj got scared and he mortgaged his jewels and gave 5 lakh 9 thousand rupees to the miscreants. As soon as the woman realized the cheating with her, she reached the police and lodged a complaint.
Woman complained to police
Police said that as soon as the fraud was realized, on August 15, Saroj Mali husband Kundanlal Mali, age 50, had filed a report on police station Birlagram. Accused Rajesh alias Raj, along with his female partner and another person, made a call as a crime branch inspector and illegally recovered a total of 5 lakh 9 thousand rupees by threatening to put them in jail and lift it from Nagda. The complaint said that at 6 pm on August 12, the accused remained a fake Crime Branch Inspector and kept digital arrest for a total of 40 hours between 14 August 25. After this, the police investigated him on the basis of CCTV footage and was identified as Rajesh alias Raj. The police arrested Rajesh alias Raj Gram Gunavad and Yukti Bairagi resident Ratlam and another companion on the basis of call details near the station.
Accused arrested in cash
Police Birlagram police team arrested the accused Rajesh alias Raj from village Gunavad. 1 lakh rupees in cash and mobiles used in the incident were recovered and the accused Balram Jat resident of village Gunavad was arrested and 89 thousand cash and mobile were seized from him. Later, the accused Yukti Bairagi resident Nehru Nagar, Ratlam was arrested and 1 lakh cash and mobile were recovered from him. In the proceedings so far, a total of 2 lakh 89 thousand rupees in cash and 3 mobiles have been seized. The remaining equal and cash amount continues.
