Bangladesh secured a 2-0 victory in their three-match T20 series against the Netherlands after rain led to the abandonment of the final match on Wednesday. Skipper Litton Das played a pivotal role, smashing 73 off 46 balls to steer Bangladesh to 164-4 in 18.2 overs before rain interrupted play for the second and last time in Sylhet.

Following their series win in the second match, Bangladesh made five changes to their team as they prepare for the T20 Asia Cup, which begins on September 9 in the United Arab Emirates.

Bangladesh’s innings faced an 11-minute break due to floodlight failure, followed by a 35-minute rain delay.

Litton reached his second fifty of the series in just 27 balls, hitting a six over deep mid-wicket off left-arm spinner Daniel Doram.

Tim Pringle dismissed Towhid Hridoy for nine, and medium-pace bowler Kyle Klein took two wickets in one over. Klein removed Litton, who was named player of the series for his 145 runs, and Shamim Hossain for 21 within three deliveries.
Nurul Hasan, who scored an unbeaten 22, and Jaker Ali, who remained not out on 20, shared an unbroken partnership of 42 before rain forced the players off the field. After a long delay, the officials decided to call off the match.
