In this article, we will tell you how you can make delicious and soft gram flour laddus at home with pure ingredients. So this time, make Ganpati Bappa's favorite laddus with your own hands and offer them to him and feed everyone as prasad.
Ingredients for making gram flour laddu
Gram flour – 2 cups
Desi ghee – 1 cup
Powdered sugar – 1 cup
Cardamom powder – ½ teaspoon
Chopped dry fruits – 2-3 tablespoons (almonds, cashews, pistachios)
Method of making laddu
To make gram flour laddu, heat ghee in a heavy-bottomed pan. After this, when the ghee melts, add gram flour to it and fry it on a medium flame while stirring continuously.
After roasting this gram flour, when the color of the gram flour starts becoming light golden and aromatic, then you understand that it is well roasted. It may take about 15–20 minutes. After some time, the fragrance will start coming from it.
Now turn off the gas and keep it aside. When it cools down a bit, now mix powdered sugar and cardamom powder in the roasted gram flour. Also, add chopped dry fruits.
Now take small amounts of this mixture and make round laddus with your hands. If the mixture seems dry, you can add some more ghee. You can offer this as bhog to Bappa at his farewell and distribute it as prasad.
