As soon as the lunar eclipse starts, you should chant the mantras of your Ishtadeva. This will not have an inauspicious effect of eclipse on you. Clean the house at the end of the eclipse. Wash the temple and take a bath yourself. Donate the needy as per your wish. By doing this you will be saved from the inauspicious results of eclipse.
