New Delhi: Carlos Alcaraz beats his arch-rival Jannik Sinner to lift the 2025 US Open title. The much-antisipated final took place at the Arthur Ashe Stadium in New York on September 7 where Alcaraz maintained his brilliant form and delivered once again on the big stage.
After losing against Sinner in the Wimbledon 2025 final the Spaniard bounced back in style at Flushing Meadows. Displaying dominant tennis Alcaraz overpowered Sinner in four sets sealing the win 6-2 3-6 6-1 6-4 with a brilliant all-round performance.
Notably this was the third straight Grand Slam final between the two. By defeating Sinner Alcaraz has also became the second-youngest player after Bjorn Borg to secure six Grand Slam titles. At just 22 he also snapped Sinner’s 27-match unbeaten run on hard courts.

Often considered as the future of tennis Alcaraz and Sinner have lived up to the tag with their outstanding displays this season. The victory in the US Open mens single has lifted Alcaraz’s Grand Slam count to six while Sinner stays at four major titles.
